Licensed Professional Counselor of Mental Health (LPMHC)

Location: Delaware
Work Setting: Remote / Telehealth
Employment Type: Full-Time
Salary: $115,000-$120,000 per year
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-5:00 PM

Position Summary

We are seeking a Delaware-licensed LPMHC to provide professional counseling services through telehealth. The position involves direct client care, clinical assessment, treatment planning, and ongoing evaluation of client needs.

The successful candidate will manage an assigned caseload, exercise independent clinical judgment, and maintain accurate records throughout treatment. This role offers a structured weekday schedule within a fully remote practice environment.

Core Responsibilities
  • Conduct individual counseling sessions through a secure telehealth platform
  • Complete intake assessments and evaluate presenting concerns
  • Establish appropriate treatment goals and care plans
  • Apply evidence-informed counseling interventions within the scope of licensure
  • Review client response to treatment and modify care when clinically indicated
  • Maintain timely and accurate progress notes and clinical records
  • Coordinate referrals and additional services when appropriate
  • Participate in clinical consultation and care coordination as needed
  • Maintain confidentiality and comply with Delaware licensing and telehealth requirements

Requirements
  • Must hold an active Delaware license in one of the following accepted credentials: Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor of Mental Health (LPMHC), Psychologist, or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
  • Professional experience in counseling, therapy, psychology, or clinical social work
  • Ability to provide high-quality care through telehealth
  • Strong documentation, communication, and time management skills
  • Commitment to ethical and client-centered mental health care
