Full Job Description
Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team in Bellevue, Washington and contribute to delivering high-quality infusion and healthcare services. The LVN will play a vital role in patient assessment, medication administration, and supporting clinical operations, ensuring each patient receives safe, effective, and compassionate care throughout their treatment journey.

This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week.

Compensation: $40-$45/hr DOE

Responsibilities
  • Perform comprehensive patient assessments including vital signs, physical examinations, and medical history documentation using electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Epic or Cerner.
  • Administer medications, including injections and IV infusions, following established protocols while ensuring adherence to HIPAA regulations and sterile techniques.
  • Monitor patients during treatments for adverse reactions or complications, particularly in infusion therapy settings involving complex conditions like autoimmune disorders or Alzheimer's care.
  • Assist with medical procedures such as catheterization, venipuncture, tube feeding, and wound suturing under the supervision of healthcare providers.
  • Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans focused on patient safety and comfort.
  • Maintain accurate medical documentation of patient care activities, medication administration records, and treatment outcomes in compliance with healthcare standards.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding treatment procedures, medication management, and post-care instructions.

Experience
  • Valid LPN license with current certification to practice in the respective state.
  • IV Certified (Required)
  • Proven experience in medical-surgical nursing, long-term care, or hospital settings such as ICU or Level I Trauma Centers.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with EMR/EHR systems including Epic, Cerner, or Athenahealth.
  • Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or in dementia/memory care environments is highly desirable.
  • Background in administering IV infusions, injections, and managing acute pain or infectious disease cases.
  • Familiarity with ICD coding (ICD-9/10), medical terminology, and documentation standards for compliance purposes.
  • Prior exposure to hospice care, home & community care settings, or outpatient clinics is advantageous.
