OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team in
Bellevue, Washington and contribute to delivering high-quality infusion and healthcare services. The LVN will play a vital role in patient assessment, medication administration, and supporting clinical operations, ensuring each patient receives safe, effective, and compassionate care throughout their treatment journey.
This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week.Compensation: $40-$45/hr DOEResponsibilities- Perform comprehensive patient assessments including vital signs, physical examinations, and medical history documentation using electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Epic or Cerner.
- Administer medications, including injections and IV infusions, following established protocols while ensuring adherence to HIPAA regulations and sterile techniques.
- Monitor patients during treatments for adverse reactions or complications, particularly in infusion therapy settings involving complex conditions like autoimmune disorders or Alzheimer's care.
- Assist with medical procedures such as catheterization, venipuncture, tube feeding, and wound suturing under the supervision of healthcare providers.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans focused on patient safety and comfort.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation of patient care activities, medication administration records, and treatment outcomes in compliance with healthcare standards.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding treatment procedures, medication management, and post-care instructions.
Experience- Valid LPN license with current certification to practice in the respective state.
- IV Certified (Required)
- Proven experience in medical-surgical nursing, long-term care, or hospital settings such as ICU or Level I Trauma Centers.
- Demonstrated proficiency with EMR/EHR systems including Epic, Cerner, or Athenahealth.
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or in dementia/memory care environments is highly desirable.
- Background in administering IV infusions, injections, and managing acute pain or infectious disease cases.
- Familiarity with ICD coding (ICD-9/10), medical terminology, and documentation standards for compliance purposes.
