Full Job Description
*This position is for Monterey County Jail in Salinas, CA - 3 x 12 hour shifts available. The position is open to Pre-licensed (Associate Level) and Fully Licensed Mental Health Clinicians.*

Overview:

CHP is looking for licensed and pre-licensed mental health clinicians who are passionate about and motivated to work with incarcerated individuals. Associates as well as LMFT, LCSW, LPCC, and Psychologists are all welcome to apply! We are seeking dedicated therapists to join our team to develop mental health curriculums, deliver best patient care, and assist in the growth of pre-licensed mental health clinicians via supervision as a licensed practitioner.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and document patient behaviors and progress.
  • Assist in the implementation of individualized treatment plans.
  • Assist in developing additional mental health curriculums.
  • Conduct individual, group, and family therapy sessions with individual caseload of an incarcerated population.
  • Collaborate with the clinical team as well as overarching multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care, including discharge planning for continuity of care.
  • Supervise 1-3 pre-licensed mental health clinicians via weekly supervision, consultation, and review of documentation (if licensed).
