Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)

Location: Rhode Island
Position: Full-Time
Salary: $115,000-$120,000 per year
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-5:00 PM
Work Setting: Remote/Telehealth
About the Role

This role involves providing therapy to individuals, couples, and families across Rhode Island. The LMFT will assess client needs, develop treatment goals, provide therapy, and track progress over time. The position also includes completing clinical documentation, maintaining treatment plans, and responding to risk or crisis concerns when needed. All clinical work must follow Rhode Island licensing, telehealth, and privacy requirements.
What You'll Do
  • Provide individual, couples, and family therapy based on client needs
  • Conduct intake sessions and clinical assessments
  • Develop and update treatment plans with clear goals
  • Document sessions, progress, and treatment updates in the EMR
  • Use appropriate therapeutic approaches and monitor client progress
  • Complete risk assessments and follow established crisis procedures when necessary
  • Keep clinical records accurate and up to date

Requirements
  • Active Rhode Island LMFT license in good standing
  • Master's degree aligned with marriage and family therapy licensure
