Job Details

Location: New York
Work Setting: Remote / Telehealth
Position Type: Full-Time
Salary: $115,000-$120,000 per year with full benefits
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-5:00 PM

Job Summary

We are seeking a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist to support clients through a full-time remote telehealth role. This position focuses on helping people work through relationship strain, family transitions, communication struggles, emotional distress, and personal challenges that affect their day-to-day lives.

As an LMFT, you will provide ongoing therapy, help clients set realistic goals, and create a space where they can talk through difficult patterns and decisions. You will also handle the core clinical pieces of the role, including assessments, treatment planning, progress notes, and care updates.

Responsibilities
  • Provide telehealth therapy for clients across New York
  • Work with individuals, couples, and families using appropriate clinical interventions
  • Assess client concerns and determine treatment goals
  • Support clients dealing with family conflict, relationship issues, stress, mood concerns, and adjustment challenges
  • Create treatment plans and revise them as clients make progress
  • Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation
  • Use telehealth and EHR systems for sessions, notes, and client records
  • Follow ethical, legal, and professional standards for remote therapy
  • Manage a full-time caseload while maintaining quality care and consistent documentation

Requirements
  • Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Psychology, or a related clinical field
  • Active LMFT license in the state of New York
  • Experience providing therapy to individuals, couples, and/or families
  • Comfortable delivering care through telehealth platforms
  • Strong documentation skills and familiarity with EHR systems
  • Ability to manage a full-time caseload with professionalism and consistency
