The Air Force Civilian Service (AFCS) is looking for a Full-Time Licensed Clinical Social Worker (NH-0185-03) to work at the 75th Medical Group on Hill AFB in Ogden, Utah. The primary purpose of this position is to provide a full range of professional social work services within operational Line of the Air Force (LAF) squadrons. Serves as a member of a multidisciplinary Integrated Operational Support (IOS) team directly supporting the LAF mission assigned to Hill Air Force Base (AFB) Operational Support Team (OST) program with the goal of building resiliency, enhancing human performance and improving unit mission effectiveness. Clinical and administrative duties focus on education and prevention, psychosocial assessment and diagnosis, and evidenced-based interventions and treatment. The organizational goals and objectives of this position include enhancing the operational effectiveness and human performance of select USAF operational units by means of temporarily integrating into unit operations, collecting and analyzing data regarding factors that adversely impact mission effectiveness, and developing and executing strategies to mitigate risks and enhance performance. Sophisticated understanding of behavioral risk management and ability to engage appropriate protections as needed when risk of harm to self or others is present. • Ability to provide guidance and consultation services to medical professionals and military leaders, and facilitate referrals to military or community-based human service agencies and resources; e.g., Protective Services or financial aid organizations.
