Full Job Description
The Regional Fixed Operations Director is responsible for monitoring and communicating Asbury requirements for fixed operations personnel, productivity, profits and Customer Satisfaction to the dealership personnel. This individual is tasked with recruiting, and training, when necessary, fixed management personnel for the dealerships in his/her region. He or she is also responsible for supervising dealership management in areas pertinent to manufacturer and dealership goals and procedures. The position also requires the ability to establish and maintain good working relationships with Asbury Management at all levels, dealership management and personnel, as well as members of his/her team. The RFOD visits the dealerships and departments in his/her region on a continual basis. 34; Assure that dealership fixed management is focused on achieving the departmental goals set by Asbury and dealership management 34; Monitor and instruct that all dealership activities are performed according to the applicable safety requirements and published procedures 34; Assist dealership fixed management in forecasting goals and objectives for personnel, expenses, sales and profits 34; Monitor that dealerships are operating within the Customer Satisfaction Index ratings set by Asbury and the Manufacturer 34; Make recommendations to dealership management 34; Actively encourages the recruitment of dealership management candidates from internal and external sources 34; Assist dealership fixed operations in implementing and consistently performing accepted processes as determined by Asbury, dealership management and the manufacturer 34; Monitor that receivable schedules are current and metrics are within Asbury guidelines for each dealership 34; Ensure that reporting systems required by general management, Asbury and the manufacturer are maintained 34; Hold Fixed Operations meetings within markets on a regular basis 34; Monitor all regional warranty operations for factory compliance, plus timely and accurate claim filing 34; Regularly review the pricing policies of the region's service and parts operations for competitiveness and profitability 34; Work with dealership General Management to assist in all segments of Fixed Operation's personnel, processes and profitability 34; Work effectively in cooperation with the National Parts Director and Collision Director 34; Perform regular, periodic performance evaluations with dealership fixed management, monitor that dealership management is evaluating staff according to Asbury guidelines 34; Must have a minimum of at-least 3-5yrs Automotive experience 34; Must have great interpersonal skills 34; Must be attentive to detail 34; Must be at-least eighteen years of age 34; Must have a valid Drivers License 34; Must be able to pass pre-employment screening (background and drug) Company Benefits: Pay and Recognition: 34; Weekly pay 34; Paid holidays & paid time off 34; Paid training 34; Stock Awards (select management and front-line team members eligible) Insurance / Retirement: 34; Insurance: medical, vision, dental, accident, critical illness and hospital indemnity plans 34; Up to 12 weeks paid pregnancy leave (disability leave) 34; Paid Parental Leave 34; Health savings 34; Flex spending accounts (tax-free) 34; Short-term and Long-term disability plans 34; Life Insurance (Whole Life and Term) 34; 401k with company match 34; Pet Insurance Learning, Tuition Assistance and Career Development: 34; Digital career path tool to assist with career development 34; Continuous training through Asbury's Internal Learning Management System Professional growth and development opportunities.
