The Box Legal team is looking for a commercial attorney with experience in cloud computing transactions, AI and global privacy laws. You will be joining a team of legal professionals that supports our go-to-market activities in the United States and abroad, with a focus on drafting, negotiating and closing commercial transactions for the purchase of Box's products and services. WHAT YOU'LL DO 3Independently draft, review and negotiate a variety of commercial agreements involving nuanced technical, commercial, data protection, privacy, and intellectual property issues 3Drive business outcomes and provide actionable advice to sales leadership, executive management, and other internal stakeholders on a broad range of complex legal, business and strategic issues 3Collaborate across organizations including finance, order management, engineering, product, security, global risk and compliance, and more 3Contribute to broader team initiatives such as sales enablement, AI agentic development, knowledge management and team playbooks WHO YOU ARE We are an AI-first company. Required skills 35+ years of relevant post-law school experience 3Accredited law degree and a current and active license to practice law in the United States 3Demonstrated technical understanding and proficiency in drafting and negotiating commercial agreements, including multi-jurisdictional transactions, cloud services, AI use and governance provisions, and related professional services and support 3Previous work with US and EU privacy and data protection regulations including the EU Data Act, EU DORA, HIPAA, HITECH, CCPA/CPRA, and GDPR. Preferred skills 3Experience providing in-house legal support to companies with business operations on a global scale 3Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities and manage multiple business expectations in a fast paced environment 3Exposure to complex procurement processes, including US federal, state and local government sales Box lives its values, with community and in-person collaboration being a core part of our culture.
