Full Job Description

As aSenior AI Solutions Architect for Thomson Reuters’ Noetica Product, you will use your experience as a transactional lawyer to work with customers and potential customers in law firms and financial institutions to help them realize maximum value from Thomson Reuters' advanced AI capabilities.As a member of the Customer Success organization, you will also collaborate with other Thomson Reuters teams including Sales, Engineering, Marketing and Product.

About the Role

In this role as aSenior AI Solutions Architect, you will:

  • Use your legal experience to work hands-on with transactional attorneys to advise on how our platform, data and insights can be utilized on live and historical transactions

  • Provide technical support across the customer lifecycle—scoping AI use cases, advising on solution design, demonstrating capabilities, and guiding implementation and optimizationwhile contributing to internal upskilling initiatives across Thomson Reuters

  • Support customers' AI adoption strategies and solution deployment, capturing insights to influence product strategy and roadmap

  • Contribute meaningfully to new model training and quality control through distillation of subject-matter expertise into multi-layered AI systems

  • Create documentation, use cases, and workflows that advance internal knowledge sharing and applied AI best practices

  • Drive measurable impact through increased AI adoption, improved customer satisfaction, and enhanced internal AI maturity

  • Contribute to Thomson Reuters' thought leadership through customer-facing content, events, and advisory boards

  • Pursue self-directed projects that align with Customer Success goals and advance organizational innovation

  • Travel may be required based on business needs

About You

You’re a fit for the role of Senior AI Solutions Architect if your background includes:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree (from a top law school preferred)

  • 2+ years of experience at a top law firm

  • Expertise in transactional legal practice on one or more of: mergers & acquisitions, capital markets / securities, credit/ finance, or other corporate transactions

  • Demonstrable experience with generative AI applications and understanding of large language model (LLM) architecture and operation

  • Substantial experience using online legal research and practice tools for corporate attorneys

  • Excellence in communicating technical concepts and creating clear documentation, learning materials, and persuasive presentations for non-technical audiences

  • Creativity, curiosity, and a growth mindset—you simplify ambiguous challenges, embrace experimentation, and view setbacks as learning opportunities

  • Current knowledge of emerging AI research, industry trends, and critical thinking about risks, opportunities, and societal impact

It would be nice if:

  • You have prior experience at a technology company or in the industry

  • You are interested in finance or economics

  • You have advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills

  • You have prior experience or background in computer programming, but please note that this is not a development role

Thomson Reuters complies with local laws that require upfront disclosure of the expected pay range for a position. The base compensation range varies across locations. For any eligible US locations, unless otherwise noted, the base compensation range for this role is $100,100 USD - $185,900 USD. Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual’s knowledge, skills and experience with consideration given to internal equity. Base pay is one part of a comprehensive Total Reward program which also includes flexible and supportive benefits and other wellbeing programs. This role may also be eligible for an Annual Bonus based on a combination of enterprise and individual performance.
