Job Summary
Under the direct supervision of an assigned Site Administrator, the Learning Director serves as the primary instructional leader for assigned programs and/or school sites. The Learning Director ensures alignment of curriculum, instruction, assessment, and intervention with District priorities and the California Professional Standards for Educational Leaders (CPSELs); monitors and evaluates the effectiveness of instructional programs through continuous data analysis; leads professional learning and coaching cycles; supports site administrators and teachers in improving classroom practice; and ensures compliance with all applicable federal, state, and grant requirements. The Learning Director acts as a strategic partner to school sites in advancing student achievement, equity, and continuous improvement.
