The LDBP partners with senior leaders, business stakeholders, subject matter experts, and Talent Development colleagues to identify learning priorities, diagnose capability gaps, and create practical, engaging, and measurable learning solutions.

This role serves as a visible and credible Talent Development partner across the firm, with a strong emphasis on firmwide initiative program execution, change management, leadership development, facilitation, and coaching. The LDBP operates with a strategic partner mindset while remaining highly hands-on in the development and delivery of learning experiences, including firmwide rollouts and programs, focus groups, diagnostic efforts, team development sessions, coaching-oriented initiatives, and ad hoc training needs. The LDBP will be a key stakeholder in Projects and Programs lead by the Forvis Mazars Talent Acquisition teams, as well as ensuring every Forvis Mazars Flagship Event, regardless of service line or industry, has elements of Forvis Mazars DNA integrated throughout. The curriculum will be an intentional blend of leadership, business, technical, culture-driving, and professional development topics focused on developing the whole professional and ensuring that every individual who comes to work for Forvis Mazars leaves a better person and professional than when they arrived.

What You Will Do:

  • Proactively collaborate with firmwide leaders, senior leaders, business stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to understand the firm's vision, strategic priorities, leadership capability needs, team member experience goals, and evolving business challenges, and translate those insights into effective learning and development solutions.
  • Serve as a strategic Talent Development partner to senior leaders, business groups, and cross-functional teams by providing guidance, thought partnership, and practical recommendations that support leadership growth, team effectiveness, and overall team member experience.
  • Design, develop, and deliver learning experiences and workshops that support current and future business needs across the firm.
  • Facilitate learning programs, leadership sessions, focus groups, team discussions, and development experiences with confidence, credibility, and strong command of adult learning principles.
  • Partner with leadership to identify, prioritize, and support a holistic team member experience with emphasis in the areas of Forvis Mazars DNA, leadership effectiveness, client service, inclusion and belonging, wellness, accountability, coaching, and professional growth.
  • Coordinate the planning, design, development, and delivery of flagship programs, firmwide programs, internal conferences, and other learning initiatives, working closely with service line, industry, functional, Talent Development, and Learning Experience Team partners.
  • Lead or support needs analyses, focus groups, listening sessions, diagnostic efforts, Talent Review feedback reviews, and business needs assessments to identify trends, clarify performance objectives, and inform updates to learning strategies, training plans, and program design.
  • Develop content, tools, facilitator resources, participant materials, discussion guides, learning assets, and practical development resources that support training initiatives, team development, leadership growth, and other business needs.
  • Partner with internal subject matter experts, senior leaders, client service partners, HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition, Inclusion and Belonging leaders, Learning Development, Leadership Development, Performance Development, IMPACT and alumni network leaders, and other firmwide stakeholders to create and deliver relevant learning experiences and prioritize content development based on emerging needs.
  • Support a broad range of development needs, including firmwide programs, team-based development, individual and team coaching-oriented initiatives, ad hoc training requests, technology-enabled programs, and evolving business priorities.
  • Collaborate and liaison with firmwide IMPACT and alumni network leaders, human resource business partners, talent acquisition, inclusion and belonging leaders, learning development, leadership development, and performance development.
  • Manage projects, stakeholder relationships, course project plans, delivery schedules, target audiences, communication plans, facilitator needs, stakeholder responsibilities, and quality instructor resources in a collaborative, team-based environment while maintaining accountability for timelines, quality, communication, and outcomes.
  • Consult with assigned course instructors, facilitators, subject matter experts, and business leaders to establish program timelines, identify critical needs, clarify learning outcomes, define required resources, and manage deadlines to ensure NASBA compliance and delivery requirements are achievable and achieved.
  • Facilitate established programs and step into new or evolving learning needs as business priorities shift, demonstrating flexibility, sound judgment, credibility, and the ability to operate effectively in ambiguity.
  • Analyze feedback and evaluation data related to instructor effectiveness, learner experience, content quality, leadership impact, business relevance, and overall team member experience; share insights with the Learning & Development Leader, service line business partners, and stakeholders to support continuous facilitation and program improvement.
  • Research, recommend, manage, administer, and support self-study learning libraries, development resources, technology-enabled programs, and other learning assets that support core curriculum needs and promote effective learning experiences.
  • Oversee budget considerations to ensure operational efficiencies and collaborate with the Talent Management Operations team to support seamless delivery and a positive learning experience for employees.
  • Set the tone for learning events that provide meaningful, engaging, and positive experiences that drive increased employee engagement, leadership capability, professional growth, and connection to Forvis Mazars DNA.
