Main Tasks- Supervises launching performance and takes leading role for project transfer
- Supports the CI process team for process improvements and quality improvements
- Participates in the activities of project in RFQ phase, provides process data etc. information
- Determines and develops the manufacturing concept including process layout (considering lessons learned from prototyping phases)
- Specifies required machines, tools and fixtures respecting available standards
- Defines required process schedule and personnel
- Verifies and confirms manufacturing feasibility of product
- Setup and update Standardized Work Chart
- Conducts Process FMEA and contributes to Design FMEA
- Checks available and required equipment and prepares capex request for required capital equipment and obtains approval
- Develops the process documentation required by the systematic standard and/or other applicable standards
- Ensures fulfillment of (short term and long term) process capability and equipment safety requirement
- Takes lead of project sample manufacturing, include internal performance test
- Leads new process/technology roll out in team
- Contributes to project success by regular attendance of project team meetings, reporting of status and co-operation with other team members
- Additional duties as assigned
Requirements:- Bachelor degree or equivalent education and experience in the field of Engineering
- 4 years of relevant work experience in Production Planning
- Knowledge of Lean Production Principles, Six Sigma, Kaizen, 5S, etc.
- Knowledge in ISO/TS 16949 required
- Ability to travel up to 50% of time
- Experience and knowledge in APQP tools (FMEA, SPC, MSA, etc.)
- Proficient use of IT-tools (MS Office, cProjects, CIMDATABASE, SAP...)
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Positive attitude with good interpersonal skills and ability to support a team environment
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with the ability to multi-task
- Ability to productively work alone or in a team environment
- Effective communication, include speaking, writing, active listening skills with the ability to communicate with all levels of the organization
- Self-initiative and ability to work under pressure
- Strong understanding of safety requirements
- Must be able to read, understand and comply with written and verbal instructions, company processes and procedures and safety policies
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 50lbs
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
