Job Summary
The role works with the Human Resources senior management team and internal clients to facilitate leadership and talent development activities that promote NAV CANADA's evolving business strategy and culture. The focus of this role is to provide internal consulting and develop and implement strategic initiatives, resources and tools that bring continuous improvements to talent management and leadership programs and practices within NAV CANADA and elevate the employee experience.

Job Description

In this role you will:
  • Develops and cultivates relationships with internal stakeholders and leaders to build rapport as a trusted partner for leadership and talent development initiatives within the business.
  • Conducts research and develops strategies to further improve organizational effectiveness at NAV CANADA and elevate the employee experience. Prepare proposals, reports and presentations on findings for senior and executive management.
  • Designs, implements, and facilitates talent and leadership programs, services and offerings that support strategies and initiatives that help shape an organization culture and are aligned with NAV CANADA's business strategy.
  • Provides consultation services to identify and assess development needs, and designs processes and interventions. Provides guidance to leaders and partners on leading interventions and sessions.
  • Works with leaders to successfully enhance their personal leadership brand.
  • Develops, implements and executes programs, strategies, tools and resources to support leaders in all aspects of performance management, succession planning, and individual and team development.
  • Anticipates and responds to needs related to current and future competencies, in relevant working context including hybrid workplace.

What you bring:
  • University degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field, and comprehensive understanding of all aspects of the human resource function.
  • Experienced in and passionate about leadership & talent development, with 5+ years of progressive professional experience working in a Human Resources function, specifically in Leadership or Learning and Development, Talent Management, Succession Management, and/or Organizational Development.
  • Knowledgeable in adult learning theory and evidence of using it to develop innovative development solutions.
  • Prior experience as an HR Specialist within a similar organization is highly desirable.
  • Experience with development, implementation and execution of HR strategies and programs.
  • Experience with diagnosis, solution development, proposal writing and client management.
  • Experience in leadership coaching, facilitation, and training.
  • Experience applying best/leading practice within well-established and/or changing cultures.
