Do you thrive in a fast-paced, high-performing, and collaborative environment? Are you able to quickly pivot when priorities change? Can you be successful while working with some ambiguity? If so, then this opportunity might be perfect for you!

As a trusted advisor to senior and executive leaders, you will assess organizational needs, shape leadership development strategy, design scalable solutions, and build a high-impact LPD function in EdPlus.

This is an opportunity to build and scale LPD at EdPlus. Initially, you will personally design and facilitate many programs while establishing the vision, operating model, and foundation for future growth. You must be comfortable with both operating strategically with executives and rolling up your sleeves to facilitate workshops, coach leaders, and launch new initiatives.

Success means building the leadership capability and skills that enable EdPlus—and its people—to thrive.

Your Primary Responsibilities:

  • Develop and lead the EdPlus Leadership & Professional Development strategy through consulting with senior and executive leaders, aligning with organizational priorities and organizational capability.

  • Build leadership capability by assessing needs and program effectiveness; recommend, create, and facilitate programs; curate content to support employee and manager needs; design leadership frameworks, manager development pathways, and succession strategies.

  • Design scalable development experiences that improve employee effectiveness and organizational performance.

  • Coach and advise leaders to strengthen leadership effectiveness, team performance, and organizational capability.

  • Coordinate or assume other duties or projects as assigned or directed.

NOTE: This is an in-person, hybrid position. You must be able to commute to Scottsdale, Arizona, at least three days per week.

Qualifications We’d Like You to Have:

  • Experience working in higher education, preferably at ASU or a similar institution.

  • Experience partnering with and advising senior executives and leadership teams.

  • Experience assessing needs and program effectiveness; recommending, creating, and facilitating programs; curating content to support employee and manager needs; and designing and implementing leadership development frameworks and succession strategies.

  • Evidence of a very high level of skill and professionalism in communicating, presenting, and facilitating.

  • Evidence of deep knowledge of adult learning theory, organizational effectiveness, employee development, and industry trends for leadership and professional development.

  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-performing, results-driven environment subject to changing priorities and ambiguity.

  • Evidence of a positive attitude, a willingness to get things done and help when needed, a curious mindset, and a solutions-based approach.

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field; master’s degree preferred.

Note: Please respond to the following in your cover letter:

  • Describe your progressively responsible experience in leadership and professional development, organizational development, or executive learning, and your time in a leadership role.

  • Describe your experience collaborating with senior leaders to build and scale a Leadership & Professional Development function within a business.
