The Leadership Development and Learning Specialist serves as a strategic partner to Organizational Development, HR, and Operations on talent management, performance, leadership development, and organizational culture. This role combines strategic insight with hands-on execution to advance organizational effectiveness through leadership and talent initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and deliver leadership programs aligned with organizational priorities, facilitating engaging in-person and virtual workshops
  • Partner with leaders to identify capability gaps, implement targeted development solutions, and coach leaders in applying learning to enhance team and organizational performance
  • Supports the design, implementation, and evolution of performance management frameworks, while coaching managers on performance practices and navigating complex conversations.
  • Contributes to talent management initiatives, including succession planning, talent calibration, and leadership pipeline development
  • Partners with Directors to implement employee and physician engagement survey processes and advance broader people and culture initiatives.
  • Leads action planning with management teams to interpret survey results and develop targeted plans to address identified opportunities.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Education, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in leadership program development and talent/performance management, including facilitation, coaching, stakeholder engagement, and applying strategy into execution within unionized and/or healthcare/public sector environments.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including SharePoint and Teams.
  • Expertise in end-to-end learning program design, adult learning principles, needs assessment, and delivery of training, workshops, and train-the-trainer sessions.
  • Strong communication, relationship-building, and influencing skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and drive culture and engagement initiatives.
  • Highly organized with demonstrated ability to design, execute, and continuously improve programs, tools, and frameworks using feedback and best practices.
  • Experience with goal setting and performance management of staff.
Language Requirements
  • English level A- is mandatory in oral expression, comprehension, reading & writing. Bilingual (French/English) is considered an asset

Salary Range: 47.58 to 55.16 per hour
