Job Description:

Our Product Support and Logistics Division (PSLD) is one of the most innovative divisions within Caterpillar. In PSLD, as within all of Caterpillar, our priority is our customers and helping them build a better world. We touch nearly every element of the services value stream. PSLD is responsible for Aftermarket Parts Distribution of Cat Parts, Integrated Logistics and Global Services supporting Caterpillar dealers and customers. Our teams work together in critical areas that leverage digital capabilities, technology and operational excellence.

As a Leader EHS, you will be responsible for providing leadership, mentoring and direction to hourly, salaried and management personnel engaged in Environmental, Health, and/or Safety (EHS) activities.

Additional Information:
  • This role is located in Denver, CO and does not offer relocation.
  • This role is 1st shift, Monday - Friday.
  • This role is 100% on-site with no opportunity for hybrid or remote schedules.
  • This role requires up to 10% domestic travel.


What You Will Do:

  • Lead all Environmental, Health, Safety, and Security (EHSS) compliance activities, ensuring adherence to company policies and federal, state, and local regulations.


  • Manage regulatory permits and maintain relationships with local, state, and governmental agencies.


  • Drive facility-wide safety initiatives and foster a strong safety culture across a 150-person, 1+ million sq. ft. operation.


  • Oversee site security programs and manage third-party security providers.


  • Lead incident management activities, including recordable injury tracking, investigations, corrective actions, and communications.


  • Identify environmental, health, and safety hazards and implement effective risk mitigation strategies.


  • Ensure completion of required EHSS training to meet regulatory and business requirements.


  • Conduct audits and assessments to verify compliance with company standards and government regulations.


  • Monitor EHSS performance metrics, analyze trends, and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.


  • Address complex environmental and operational challenges associated with the facility's size, age, and location.


What You Have (Basic Requirements):

  • Effective Communications: Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.


  • Initiative: Being proactive and committing to action on self-identified job responsibilities and challenges; ability to seek out work and the drive to accomplish goals.


  • Managing Multiple Priorities: Knowledge of effective self-management practices; ability to manage multiple concurrent objectives, projects, groups, or activities, making effective judgments as to prioritizing and time allocation.


  • Problem Solving: Knowledge of approaches, tools, techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving organizational, operational or process problems; ability to apply knowledge of problem solving appropriately to diverse situations.


  • Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Policy Compliance: Knowledge of Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) policies; ability to implement EHS policies to ensure that provided products and services are safe for people and the environment and in compliance with legal requirements and standards.

  • Experience navigating and applying county, city, and state environmental, health, and safety regulations, preferably within the Denver, CO area.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to address complex environmental and safety challenges in large-scale operations.

Summary Pay Range:

$89,210.00 - $133,810.00

Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
