Full Job Description
Systems Engineering - Lead

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Operational Excellence, you play a key role in the optimization and evolution of operations at a regional level.

You provide leadership to a team of 2 to 4 engineers and actively contribute to the continuous improvement of our transportation network.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and engage a team of engineers (planning, prioritization, coaching)
  • Ensure terminal operational performance by analyzing KPIs and identifying improvement opportunities
  • Optimize operational processes (delivery, dock operations, workforce planning, routing)
  • Drive continuous improvement and operational efficiency initiatives
  • Act as a strategic partner to operations teams (communicating results, risks, and action plans)
  • Coach and support operational managers to strengthen practices and performance
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Operations, HR, H&S, etc.) to ensure alignment
  • Contribute to decisions with a tangible impact on parcel and freight transportation network performance


Your profile

  • Degree in Engineering or a related field
  • 2 to 5 years of experience, including some experience in supervision or leadership
  • Experience in an operational or logistics environment (an asset)
  • Bilingualism (French and English) is an asset, with strong communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills and a results-driven mindset
  • Demonstrated leadership and ability to influence
  • Availability to travel to operational sites across the network (Eastern Canada) and provide occasional support outside regular business hours, depending on project needs
