Lead Supply Chain Management Analyst
Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) has an exciting opportunity for a
Lead Supply Chain Management Analyst (Level 5) to join the dynamic Fabrication Supply Chain Functional Excellence team in
Auburn, Washington on First Shift.
This role supports multiple Fabrication business units through master schedule change incorporation, data analysis, forecasting, supply and demand troubleshooting, and purchase/sales transaction flow management. The position also performs standard Supply Chain Management functions and additional duties as assigned.
Position Responsibilities:- Initiates own assignments and benchmarks industry practices.
- Communicates supply chain information throughout the enterprise by integrating and aligning processes, procedures, and practices with multiple organizations and domestic/international customers/suppliers to ensure cost effective materials management.
- Researches and incorporates new technologies. Leads and facilitates teams to develop advanced technological ideas with multiple organizations and internal/external customers/suppliers.
- Develops recommendations and/or implements solutions in support of program, organization and/or multiple business units.
- Serves as an organization spokesperson on advanced projects and programs.
- Advises management and customers on advanced technical research studies and applications.
- Develops advanced technological ideas and guides their development into final products to enhance the organization's technological capability.
- Works under consultative direction.
- Demonstrates understanding of purchase and sales transactions, including how purchase releases and sales releases function within the supply chain process.
- Supports resolution of CUM disputes, sales release errors, and sales schedule discrepancies.
- Troubleshoots demand-related issues and performs analysis to identify root causes and corrective actions.
- Supports SILS kit planning and execution processes, including WI setup, time fence management, assembly kit generation and transfer, blocked and duplicate forecast conditions, and call-off administration.
- Analyzes supply chain data and uses ERP/MRP tools and Microsoft Office applications to synthesize information, identify trends, and support decision-making.
- Identifies opportunities for process improvement and supports implementation of solutions that improve supply chain performance, planning accuracy, and operational efficiency.
- Partners with cross-functional stakeholders to support supply chain strategy, systems thinking, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):- 10+ years of experience with supply chain management analysis or materials management analysis
- 10+ years of experience with supply chain forecasting
- 5+ years of experience interpreting Bill of Materials
- 5+ years of experience with industry ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) or an equivalent such as SAP (System Applications and Product)
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):- 5+ years of experience working directly with suppliers or supplier management
- 5+ years of experience working with Microsoft Office tools such as Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel and Word
- Bachelor's degree or higher
