Speech-Language Pathologist to help establish and grow an adult neuro-focused Speech Therapy program within a
well-established multidisciplinary rehabilitation organization.With established Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy programs already in place, SportsMed is well-positioned to support the growth of Speech Therapy services through existing referral relationships and interdisciplinary care opportunities.

build something from the ground up, not just inherit a caseload, this role was designed for you.What You'll Be BuildingAs SportsMed's first Speech-Language Pathologist, you'll have the rare opportunity to combine clinical care with program development.
Initially, you'll focus on building and managing a full-time adult caseload while collaborating closely with our Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy teams.
As the program grows, you'll help shape the future of Speech-Language Pathology at SportsMed by contributing to hiring decisions, mentoring future clinicians, and helping expand services throughout the organization.

Clinical FocusYou will primarily work with adult patients experiencing:
• Stroke and CVA-related communication disorders
• Parkinson's disease and other neurological conditions
• Concussion and mild traumatic brain injury
• Cognitive-communication disorders
• Dysphagia and swallowing disorders
• Other adult neurorehabilitation diagnoses
What We're Looking ForRequired• Active New Jersey SLP License
• Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• 2+ years experience treating adult neurological populations in an outpatient setting
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Interest in leadership, program development, and interdisciplinary care
• A self-starter who enjoys creating new opportunities and building programs
Preferred• ASHA CCC-SLP
• Previous experience in outpatient rehabilitation
• Experience with dysphagia and cognitive rehabilitation
• Experience mentoring, training, or leading clinicians

Compensation- $100,000 - $115,000 base salary
