Full Job Description
KPMG is currently seeking a Lead Specialist to join our KPMG Managed Services practice.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead agile technical project efforts, gather requirements, manage sprints, manage technical teams and lead technical meetings
  • Collaborate with developers to build and deliver solutions implementing serverless, microservice based, IaaS, PaaS and containerized architectures in Azure and AWS Cloud environments
  • Automate the end-to-end build and deployment of cloud infrastructure solutions using modern DevOps IaC and CICD processes; integrate solutions with pipeline tools (e.g. Azure DevOps), configuration management tools and develop extensive monitoring and reporting capabilities for implemented solutions
  • Oversee backlogs, sprint planning exercises, load testing, tuning efforts, L3+ troubleshooting and support for implemented solutions
  • Manage the development supporting documentation, runbooks, training materials for implemented solutions and lead security and compliance reviews for existing and new solutions
  • Train and review L2 support of implemented solutions and identify areas for improvement and better training; manage and report on team resources
  • Act with integrity, professionalism, and personal responsibility to uphold KPMG's respectful and courteous work environment.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum five years of recent experience working in a DevOps/System Engineering role
  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university is required.
  • Extensive experience with DevOps and CICD processes and concept automation in a cloud environment; azure DevOps and Pipelines, AWS DevOps toolset (Code Pipeline, Code Deploy, Code Build). Configuration Management tools (SaltStack, Ansible, Chef, Puppet). Azure and AWS PaaS and IaaS Services, Cloud networking and security
  • Strong knowledge of serverless technologies, containers, micro-services Linux, Window, Network/Firewall architecture and concepts
  • Demonstrated experience working with development teams; understanding of business requirements
  • Ability to travel as necessary
