ResponsibilitiesPeraton has an immediate need for aLead Solution Architect (LSA) to support growth opportunities for the Health, State & Local Sector.
As an LSA, you will be a core member of a capture team, responsible for leading the design of innovative and cost-effective mission relevant solutions that could include systems engineering, applications, cyber security, cloud, and infrastructure solutions that address the operational and technology needs of our customers while helping to grow our business.
This is a remote work position with the flexibility to occasional travel to locations within the DC/Metro to support solution activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- The LSA will work closely with Business Development, delivery accounts and Corporate Offerings teams to determine the overall solution strategy and approach to align to the customer27s objectives and requirements including merging industry point of view with broad technical knowledge and mission understanding to generate value propositions and approaches to solve Government customer challenges.
- The LSA is responsible for the technical solution development, competitive costing, and business case alignment of Peraton solutions to the Government client27s proposal requirements.
- Possess the ability to collaborate effectively with the Peraton business leaders to design the solution and key solution parameters prior to costing activities.
- The LSA will clearly articulate all aspects of the solution during governance reviews with senior Peraton management, identifying and evaluating solution risks and create strategies and plans to mitigate those risks.
- Establish strong relationships with Peraton partners to drive high quality solutions and compelling value propositions.
- Understanding of Operational environments and how to position Peraton to deliver end-to-end mission value to program sponsors.
- Possess the ability to interact with customers to gain insights into customer needs and support shaping activities by articulation the benefits of Peraton solutions.
- Translate the benefits of our approach to specific levels of seniority within the sponsor teams (strategic vs. tactical) Translate innovation and R&D into differentiated solutions for customers working with company technology leadership Mature network of contacts to include government, OEMs, and competitors.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 12 years with BS/BA; Minimum of 10 years with MS/MA; Minimum of 7 years with Ph.D.
- Bachelor27s degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework in business, computer science, electrical engineering, systems engineering, information technology, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in supporting successful technical solutions for large, complex opportunities and proposal submissions for US Federal and/or State/Local Government customers, including cyber and infrastructure solutions.
- Must be a self-starter with the ability to work effectively independently and in team settings to include close collaboration with technical subject matter experts, Program Managers, proposal managers, and Business Development teams to determine customer requirements in complex and often ambiguous environments.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate in a variety of formats with varying levels of stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to build trusted relationships and communicate at the senior and executive management levels.
- Demonstrated expert knowledge across a broad range of mission focused and technology services and solutions, coupled with a strong customer focus.
- Advanced cyber certifications (e.g. CISSP, GSLC, or similar)
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
Desired Qualifications:
- Masters degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework in business, computer science, electrical engineering, systems engineering, information technology, or a related field.
Target Salary Range$135,000 - $216,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual27s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
