Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Backend/API Developer with a strong focus on Python and Agentic AI systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining high-quality software solutions. You will lead technical discussions, contribute to architectural decisions, and ensure the performance, scalability, reliability, and security of applications.
Responsibilities- Design, develop, test, and maintain high-quality Python and Agentic AI systems.
- Lead technical design discussions and contribute to architectural decisions.
- Ensure application performance, scalability, reliability, and security.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices.
- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
- Mentor junior engineers and support team knowledge sharing.
- Collaborate with product managers, QA, DevOps, and other stakeholders.
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues in development and production environments.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement.
Mandatory Skills- Strong expertise in Python and Agentic AI.
- Experience with Git and modern CI/CD pipelines.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Proven experience in Agile development environments.
- Deal Breaker Skill: Java.
Preferred Skills- Familiarity with LLM evaluation frameworks, guardrail tooling, and AI observability.
- Experience in web UI automation testing using Selenium with Java.
- Proficient in API testing with Postman/Fiddler.
- Good understanding of performance testing concepts and experience with tools like JMeter/LoadRunner.
QualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience) is required. A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in software development is essential.
