In this role, you will define and scale micro-product and API ecosystems that power web, mobile, and digital pharmacy channels across diverse client environments. You will lead hands-on development across web (React.js, Next.js) and mobile (React Native) platforms, driving architectural governance, code quality, and performance optimization. Additionally, you will champion artificial intelligence as a key driver of software engineering efficiency and application innovation, embedding enterprise AI capabilities, ethical AI standards, and modern automation across your engineering team to deliver impactful healthcare solutions.

You'll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely * from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges. For all hires in the Minneapolis, Schaumberg, IL or Washington, D.C. area, you will be required to work in the office a minimum of four days per week.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Establish monorepo strategies (e.g., TurboRepo, Nx) and code-sharing mechanisms to maximize development speed across web and mobile applications
  • Define and scale micro-product and API ecosystems powering web, mobile, and customer channels with minimal integration complexity
  • Provide hands-on engineering leadership by actively contributing code, conducting pull request reviews, and establishing front-end coding standards
  • Oversee performance optimization across web (Core Web Vitals) and mobile applications (reducing bridge traffic, layout rendering, and app bundle sizes)
  • Implement robust testing infrastructure encompassing unit, integration, and end-to-end (E2E) automation testing
  • Partner with UI/UX designers and backend engineers to evaluate design feasibility and align on RESTful and GraphQL API structures
  • Manage the application deployment lifecycle across web hosting platforms and mobile application stores (Apple App Store and Google Play Console)
  • Integrate enterprise AI capabilities into team workflows, setting clear development goals to accelerate AI adoption and engineering efficiency
  • Champion the ethical use of AI technologies by ensuring transparency, fairness, data privacy, and accountability throughout the software development lifecycle
  • Strategically leverage AI tools and intelligent automation to solve complex engineering challenges, optimize platform delivery, and drive business value
  • Mentor and upskill engineering team members through workshops, code reviews, and technical guidance, driving team capability growth

You'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of software engineering experience developing and deploying scalable web and mobile applications

  • Experience integrating RESTful and GraphQL APIs into front-end applications
  • Experience with full-stack technology stacks including Java, Node.js, or Next.js
  • Experience leading application releases across Apple App Store and Google Play Console
  • Experience driving the adoption of modern developer tooling, continuous integration automation, or enterprise AI capabilities across software engineering teams

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
  • Experience with monorepo tooling such as TurboRepo or Nx
  • Experience optimizing Core Web Vitals, mobile app bundle sizes, and rendering performance
  • Experience establishing end-to-end automation testing suites for web and mobile platforms
  • Experience designing micro-product architecture for digital pharmacy or healthcare ecosystems
