Broadridge is hiring! We’re seeking a Lead Software Engineer to design and deliver software solutions that support financial information processing across cloud and on-premises environments. In this role, you’ll mentor junior developers, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and ensure solutions meet quality, functional, and compliance standards. You’ll also leverage modern frameworks, test automation, and AI-enabled tools to improve development while helping lead Agile delivery.
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement software solutions that support financial information processing across cloud-based and on-premises environments.
- Mentor and guide junior developers, providing oversight to ensure effective task execution and delivery.
- Analyze business requirements and ensure software solutions meet defined functional and compliance needs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional development teams to support seamless integration across system components.
- Maintain software quality and ensure adherence to Broadridge development standards and guidelines.
- Evaluate and recommend tools and frameworks that enhance software development and test automation capabilities.
- Leverage AI-enabled tools to improve design, coding, and testing activities.
- Lead and actively participate in Agile ceremonies, including planning, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, or equivalent education and experience
- 10+ years of software engineering experience, including technical leadership responsibilities.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools and practical use cases for engineering acceleration.
- Strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, microservices, and REST APIs.
- Experience with AWS and containerized deployments using Docker.
- Experience with EKS, ECS, CI/CD, and DevOps practices..
- Experience with Kafka and MQ
- Strong understanding of secure coding practices, relational databases, and DevOps.
- Knowledge of SQL
Compensation Range: The salary range for this position is between $150,000-$170,000 USD. Broadridge considers various factors when evaluating a candidate's final salary including, but not limited to, relevant experience, skills, and education.
