Position Summary

Your larger team is our internal creative resource, called CheckMark. As a Lead Production Artist (Lead Graphic Design Technician), you'll produce digital files for deploying accurately and on time. You will be able to prioritize work appropriately, accurately account for time and alert the correct parties immediately if a deadline is in jeopardy. As a critical and central member of the team, you are able to work successfully with the creative team, your project manager and the lead senior production designer.

  • Achieving graphic and quality standards like trademarks, logos, legal and regulatory requirements including AFFCO/NASC file standards.
  • Maintain accurate sizes and specifications across all projects; route all work to a Proofreader before presenting to the review group for final approval.
  • Construct digital files in a memory-efficient manner, ensuring they are accurate, error-free, and compliant with internal quality standards.
  • Collaborate effectively with Creative and Production Services, prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines and accurately tracking time spent on projects.
  • Demonstrate extensive knowledge of Mac OS and proficiency in InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator, including advanced commands and proper digital file management techniques.


Requirements
  • High School diploma or GED
  • 3 years experience in Mac Digital Production, thorough knowledge of the following programs: Illustrator, Indesgn and Photoshop
  • 1 year of experience working with or supporting the Canadian market, including knowledge of applicable Canadian legal, regulatory, and compliance requirements


Other
  • Experience with Packaging die-vinyls preferred
  • Experience with Keynote and PowerPoint preferred

The approximate pay range for this position is $72,000 to $93,000. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location.
