The Royal Caribbean Group's IT Shipboard Onboard Revenue Team has an exciting career opportunity for a full time Lead,Product Management reporting to the Sr.Lead, Product Management

The position is onsite and based in Miramar, Florida.

The position is also not eligible for work authorization sponsorship.

Position Summary:

The Lead, Product Management - Gaming Technology is responsible for defining, prioritizing, and delivering technology solutions that support Royal Caribbean Group's casino and gaming business, a $2B revenue operation spanning slots, tables, arcade, bingo, casino cage and cashless systems, player tracking, and emerging gaming experiences.

This role serves as the voice of the customer by translating strategic objectives into a prioritized product backlog that delivers measurable business value. The Lead, Product Management works closely with Casino, Digital and eComm Product Management, Engineering, Architecture, Operations, and business stakeholders to ensure technology solutions align with organizational goals and improve guest, crew, and operational experiences.

The Lead, Product Management owns the product backlog from ideation through delivery, drives MVP definition, manages priorities across competing stakeholder needs, and ensures solutions deliver intended outcomes while maintaining platform scalability, reliability, and long-term product health.

Gaming Technology products are core enablers of the gaming experience, operational efficiency, and growth objectives across Royal Caribbean Group. The Lead, Product Management ensures strategic investments are translated into actionable product increments that improve revenue generation, guest engagement, operational performance, and data-driven decision making.

This role bridges business strategy and technical execution, partnering across product, engineering, operations, compliance, and commercial teams to deliver capabilities that support fleet modernization, data visibility, player engagement, and digital transformation initiatives. The Product Owner plays a critical role in maximizing return on technology investments through effective prioritization and delivery of high-value features.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Product Strategy & Roadmap Execution
  • Partner with Product Management to understand business objectives, customer needs, and strategic priorities.
  • Translate business goals into product roadmaps, objectives, and measurable outcomes.
  • Support development and execution of gaming technology product strategies aligned with departmental and enterprise roadmaps.
  • Identify opportunities to improve guest experiences, operational efficiency, and revenue performance through technology innovation.

Product Backlog Ownership
  • Own, maintain, and prioritize product backlogs based on business value, customer impact, risk, and technical considerations.
  • Define and document epics, features, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Ensure backlog items are sufficiently refined and understood to support delivery planning and estimation.
  • Drive MVP and proof-of-concept definitions to validate product hypotheses and business outcomes.

Agile Delivery & Execution
  • Collaborate with engineering teams during sprint planning, backlog refinement, reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Provide ongoing product direction and clarification throughout development cycles.
  • Review completed work and accept or reject deliverables based on defined acceptance criteria.
  • Measure feature adoption and business outcomes to ensure delivered solutions meet intended objectives.

Stakeholder Engagement & Collaboration
  • Serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and delivery teams.
  • Facilitate communication and alignment across Product, Engineering, Architecture, Infrastructure, Security, and Operations teams.
  • Conduct demonstrations, reviews, and milestone updates with stakeholders.
  • Manage cross-team dependencies and identify potential delivery risks and impediments.

Product Performance & Continuous Improvement
  • Monitor product health, usage, adoption, reliability, and performance metrics.
  • Leverage data and stakeholder feedback to identify enhancement opportunities.
  • Drive continuous improvement of products, processes, and customer experiences.
  • Remain current on gaming technology trends, operational needs, and emerging industry capabilities.


Qualifications:

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, Hospitality Management, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Preferred experience in Gaming, Offer & Reward Platforms, Player Experience, and/or Cruising a plus

Experience
  • 5+ years of experience as a Product Owner, Product Analyst, Business Analyst, Product Manager, or related product delivery role.
  • Experience working within Agile software development environments.
  • Experience managing product backlogs and delivering software products through multiple release cycles.
  • Experience collaborating with both business and technical stakeholders in complex enterprise environments.

Skills
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Ability to balance strategic thinking with execution-focused delivery.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
