LoopNet is growing quickly and we’re looking for a powerhouse Senior Product Designer, based in Arlington, VA to accelerate our growth.

What We Are Looking For:
As a Lead Product Designer at LoopNet, you will be a driving force in bringing elegant and polished software to life across some of our most important surfaces. In this role you will support two development teams spanning Homepage, Search, and User Accounts, with a focus on integrating AI into the experiences our users rely on every day. You will play an integral role in the operation of a high-functioning and highly collaborative product organization. 
You will partner with product managers and engineering leads to architect world-class user journeys, design intuitive and trustworthy AI-powered interactions, and ship cutting edge software to the fingertips of the millions of visitors that come to LoopNet each month. Success in this role is driven by operating with a highly collaborative, team-player mindset. The right candidate will embody a ‘we’ not ‘me’ mindset. 
This position is located in Arlington, VA and this position is in office Monday through Friday. 
Responsibilities
  • Lead the design effort across two development teams spanning Homepage, Search, and User Accounts, including strategy, user flows, prototyping and visual design. 
  • Design intuitive, trustworthy experiences for AI-powered features such as conversational search, personalization, and assistant-led workflows. 
  • Collaborate with a diverse group of colleagues including product leads, researchers, engineers, data scientists, marketing leads, and other designers. 
  • Understand customer needs using different research techniques (surveys, interviews, observations, data analysis). 
  • Set the design standard high, striking the balance between strong usability and aesthetic appeal. 
  • Collaborate with the product team to deliver design solutions using wireframes, flows, mockups, prototypes, etc. 
  • Contribute to our emerging design system with flexible solutions and drive the evolution of our design practices, including emerging patterns for AI interactions. 
  • Help elevate the team practices in user testing, research, and interaction design. 
Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited, not-for-profit, in person, University or College. 
  • An excellent design eye and can take a design from ‘good’ to ‘great’. 
  • 8+ years of experience with product design, human-computer interaction, usability and user interface design, and/or visual design. 
  • Strong abilities in sketching, prototyping, and evaluating interaction design. 
  • Proficiency in design tools & prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch and InVision. 
  • Knowledge of the best practices for interaction design for cross-platform devices and applications. 
  • Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills. 
  • Experience working in an agile environment, ideally supporting multiple development teams. 
  • A track record of commitment to prior employers. 
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience designing for AI-powered or conversational product experiences. 
  • Experience developing a Design System. 
  • Experience in establishing product metrics. 
  • Enjoy working with data, information and presentation concepts and working with other smart, data driven people. 
  • An interest in real estate is a plus.

The final salary or hourly rate offered for this role with fall within the range set forth below based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, geographic location, skills, and competencies.
Base Compensation: $152,000.00-$206,000.00 Annually
