Job DescriptionRoles and Responsibilities- Support the management of operations, business, unit, or part of a production facility in order to reach defined targets in quality, cost, delivery and safety.
- Ensure continuous business improvement according to benchmarks and standards (BiQ and QMS)
- Broadening knowledge of own technical discipline to execute policy/strategy. May include support roles with specialized technical field of knowledge; still acquiring higher level knowledge and skills.
- Basic understanding and management of key business drivers (KPIs); uses this understanding to accomplish own work and lead fellow PQEs in focused problem solving.
- Good understanding of how work of own team integrates with other teams and contributes to the area.
- May have some autonomy to make decisions within a defined framework. Resolves issues in situations that require good technical knowledge and judgment within established procedures. Consults more senior team members for issues outside of defined instructions/parameters.
- A job at this level requires good interpersonal skills and may be required to lead a junior team.
- For customer facing roles, develops strong customer relationships and serves as the interface between customer and GE. Explains technical information to others.
- Lead the team in creation and execution of Basic Quality tools and Manufacturing Core Tools
Required Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited university or college ( or a high school diploma with relevant experience).
- Minimum 3 yrs of manufacturing experience as manufacturing or quality engineer.
Desired Characteristics- Strong oral and written communication skills. Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $81,700.00 and $136,700.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set.
Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus.
