As a Lead Platform Engineer, Property Technology, you will bring your blend of technical skills and product passion to a hospitality company with an award-winning culture. On the Software Engineering Property Platform team, reporting to the Director Software Engineering, you will lead the delivery of enterprise programs and platform enhancements for Prodigy, a cohesive in-house commercial services web application. Prodigy supports both above-property corporate teams and on-property hotel team members.

What you'll do during a typical day:
  • Create technical requirements to deliver new features and capabilities that support enterprise capabilities and platform enhancements
  • Break-down complex workflows into unified application experiences
  • Transform solution and network diagrams, swagger definitions, and REST API integrations into clear requirements and business process flows that bring capabilities to life
  • Collaborate daily with Business Product Owners, UI Engineers, and Designers in an agile environment to challenge current processes and deliver features and requirements
  • Lead other Business Analysts by encouraging a culture of ideation, accountability, collaboration, innovation, and customer-centric decision-making
  • Manage the refinement backlog through weekly refinement and sprint planning, ensuring the platform team advances 40-50% of sprint velocity, approximately 70-80 tickets or 180 story points, into refinement each week

How you'll collaborate with others:
  • Connect Hilton's business, technology, and core architecture teams to understand and detail the technology needs and transform requirements into deliverable solutions
  • Partner with business product owners, UI/UX designers, development, and testing teams to deliver new functionality and enterprise capabilities
  • Navigate a fast-paced agile environment by clarifying ambiguity, developing solutions, and removing roadblocks to keep work moving forward

Deliverables you'll take ownership of:
  • Monitor progress against weekly/monthly roadmap and identify potential risks and blockers for scheduled programs
  • Prioritize requirements in refinement backlog
  • Deliver monthly artifacts such as release notes and product reviews to business and technical teams

  • Understanding of existing software delivery life cycle and how to use AI tooling to modernize the cycle
  • Experience working with rest APIs integrations and proficiency understanding swagger file definitions (YAML/JSON)
  • This is a hybrid in-office role and requires new team members to be near one of our three US office locations (McLean, Dallas, Memphis)
  • Travel up to 10%

It would be useful if you have:
