Work Location

This is a full-time, remote role based in the United States. Candidates located in the Eastern U.S. are strongly preferred. Some travel will be required.

Make an Impact at WGU

As a Lead Partnership Executive, you will play a critical role in advancing WGU's mission by building enterprise-level partnerships that expand access to education and workforce solutions at scale. This role focuses on strategic business development, executive engagement, and national market growth while shaping how organizations invest in talent development.

What You'll Do
  • Drive new enterprise partnerships aligned to WGU's mission and strategic priorities
  • Lead consultative business development with C-suite leaders and national decision-makers
  • Design innovative proposals, campaigns, and workforce solutions that address large-scale talent needs
  • Represent WGU at major industry events, conferences, and partner councils
  • Coach and guide Account Executives and Senior Account Executives on enterprise sales best practices
  • Partner closely with Partner Success teams to ensure smooth handoffs and long-term partner outcomes
  • Contribute to national pipeline strategy, market expansion, and development of new verticals

Travel Expectation
This position requires occasional travel of up to 25%, including required attendance at designated company summits (typically one to two per year). Full-Time Regular Positions (classified as regular and working 40 standard weekly hours): This is a full-time, regular position (classified for 40 standard weekly hours) that is eligible for bonuses; medical, dental, vision, telehealth and mental healthcare; health savings account and flexible spending account; basic and voluntary life insurance; disability coverage; accident, critical illness and hospital indemnity supplemental coverages; legal and identity theft coverage; retirement savings plan; wellbeing program; discounted WGU tuition; and flexible paid time off for rest and relaxation with no need for accrual, flexible paid sick time with no need for accrual, 11 paid holidays, and other paid leaves, including up to 12 weeks of parental leave.
