Hiring Range: $72,883.20 - $123,884.80 annually *based on experience

About This Position:

HealthPark Care & Rehabilitation Center is a nationally recognized 112-bed skilled nursing facility. As a Physical Therapist, you'll work alongside a collaborative, interdisciplinary team to help patients regain independence after surgeries, strokes, joint replacements, cardiac or pulmonary conditions, and other complex medical events. With therapy offered seven days a week in spacious, well-equipped rehab gyms, and a strong focus on individualized goals and smooth transitions home, HealthPark provides an award-winning environment where you can make a meaningful impact on patients' lives.

The Lead Occupational Therapist provides advanced clinical care while supporting the day-to-day operations and coordination of the Therapy Department. This role evaluates and treats patients with a variety of impairments, functional limitations, and disabilities while ensuring accurate, timely documentation and adherence to professional, regulatory, accreditation, and CMS standards. The Lead OT supports daily therapy workflow, scheduling, treatment compliance, equipment needs, and family training while identifying and addressing barriers to quality patient care. Serving as a clinical and educational resource, this position mentors staff and students, provides patient and family education, develops and delivers staff and community education, and collaborates with university and college programs. The Lead OT also takes an active role in program development, performance improvement initiatives, and the advancement of treatment protocols and services while collaborating with physicians, nursing, case management, and other interdisciplinary team members to promote efficient, high-quality, patient-centered care.

Our Rehabilitation Services team is one of the largest and most dynamic in the region. With over 700 skilled professionals dedicated to helping patients regain strength, mobility, and independence through comprehensive, compassionate care. Our licensed physical, occupational, and speech therapists work closely with medical teams to create individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's unique needs. Beyond core therapy services, we offer a variety of specialty programs including neurological rehabilitation, vestibular and balance therapy, lymphedema management, pelvic health therapy, and oncology rehabilitation. With services spanning acute care, skilled nursing, home health, and outpatient settings, our team delivers exceptional, evidence-based care that restores function and enhances quality of life.

What This Position Requires:

Education: Bachelor's degree in occupational therapy required.

Experience: 5 years of experience preferred.

Certification: BLS (American Heart Association/Basic Life Support) required.

License: Active State of Florida Occupational Therapist license.

Other: Effective analytical skills, communication and interpersonal skills, and strong customer service skills.
