Duties

Help

  • Lead teams of specialists or individually conduct in-depth studies, reviews, evaluations, and assessments of issues and proposals assigned.
  • Determine the functionality of unique organizational structures and provide coordination among key participants for the long-range planning and development of organizational strategies to meet objectives and mission.
  • Initiate and execute very complex administrative and management projects.
  • Coach the team in the selection and application of appropriate problem solving
    methods and techniques, provide advice on work methods, practices and
    procedures, and assist the team and/or individual members in identifying the
    parameters of a viable solution.
  • Articulate and communicate to the team the assignment, project, problem to be
    solved, actionable events, milestones, and/or program issues under review, and
    deadlines and time frames for completion.
  • Design and conduct comprehensive management studies to identify and propose solutions to management problems.

Qualifications

To qualify for a Lead Management Analyst position at the GS-0343-13 level, you must have 1 year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-12 level in the Federal service obtained in either the private or public sector, performing the following types of tasks: 1.) Employing analytical techniques to resolve productivity problems across organizational segments. 2.) Establishing study methods for audits and interpreting independently developed findings. 3.) Developing recommendations for work method changes and systems improvements. AND 4.) Analyzing administrative operations and developing strategies to improve program implementation.

You will receive credit for all experience material to the position, including experience gained in religious, civic, welfare, service, and organizational activities, regardless of whether you received pay.
