Job Summary

We are seeking a Lead Java Developer with extensive experience designing and implementing enterprise-grade software solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, microservices, REST APIs, cloud technologies, and DevOps practices. This role is responsible for leading technical delivery, collaborating with business and technology stakeholders, and developing scalable, secure, and high-performance enterprise applications.

Key Responsibilities
• Design and implement enterprise software solutions aligned with architecture standards and business objectives.
• Deliver high-quality software using Agile or Waterfall development methodologies.
• Lead technical implementation and own project deliverables from design through deployment.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
• Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Develop and maintain enterprise applications using Java, Spring Boot, and J2EE technologies.
• Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs and web services.
• Build and implement microservices using Spring Boot.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize enterprise applications.
• Build and maintain source code repositories using Git, SVN, and CI/CD best practices.
• Develop and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and database objects.
• Implement authentication and authorization mechanisms using JWT.
• Develop and maintain API documentation using Swagger.
• Work with IBM integration technologies to build backend services and integrations.
• Lead development teams and collaborate with business and operational partners.

Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of software engineering experience.
• 5+ years of experience developing enterprise applications using Java, REST APIs, Kafka, JSON, and IBM Fuse.
• Strong hands-on experience with Java, Spring Framework, Spring Boot, and Object-Oriented Design principles.
• Experience developing RESTful web services using JAX-RS.
• Experience building microservices using Spring Boot.
• Experience with J2EE technologies and enterprise web application development.
• Strong understanding of Agile development methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban.
• Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, containerized applications, and cloud deployment architectures.
• Experience using Jenkins, Kubernetes, Maven, Git, SVN, and CI/CD tools.
• Experience with Oracle, MySQL, DB2, SQL queries, stored procedures, and triggers.
• Experience using Swagger and API testing tools.
• Experience implementing JWT for authentication and authorization.
• Experience with Apache Maven for build automation.
• Experience with data structures and algorithms.
• Experience with IBM DataPower Gateway.
• Experience with IBM Integration Bus (IIB), App Connect Enterprise (ACE), and IBM MQ WebSphere.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to lead technical teams and manage multiple priorities.

Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with Fraud Technology.
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including Cloud Run, BigQuery, Terraform, and Big Data services.

• 3+ years of experience leading development teams and partnering with business and operational stakeholders.
