As a Lead IT Enterprise Architect here at Honeywell Aerospace, you will be responsible for designing and evolving our technology landscape. Collaborating closely with business leaders and technology teams, you'll align our architecture with strategic business goals and industry best practices. Your insights and expertise will be pivotal in identifying opportunities, addressing challenges, and ensuring the scalability, security, and compliance of our technology solutions. You will report directly to our Sr Director of IT Enterprise Architecture, and you'll work out of our Phoenix, AZ location on a Hybrid work schedule.

In this role, you will shape our enterprise architecture, ensuring it aligns seamlessly with our strategic objectives and industry best practices. Your contributions will be instrumental in driving innovation, addressing complex challenges, and maintaining the scalability, security, and compliance of our technology landscape. Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities
  • SUN (Specific Use Network) Architecture Review, Guidance, & EA Ownership
  • Continued EA Observability Ownership over the multiple platforms
  • Manage End User Compute Standards & Coordination with new and existing Service owners
  • Manage Infra Architecture for OT
  • Cloud Architecture - Azure
  • Microsoft Suite of Products(power apps, 365 suite)
  • Develop and implement strategies for Security, Identity & Access Management, and Compliance architecture and enabling technologies.
  • Serve as an architect responsible for designing, documenting, and evolving our enterprise architecture, aligning it with business objectives and industry best practices.
  • Evaluate and select technology solutions, ensuring they meet scalability, security, and compliance standards.
  • Coordinate efforts to achieve alignment with the established architecture strategy.
  • Collaborate with business leaders and technology teams to identify architectural opportunities, address challenges, and drive innovation.
  • Serve as a technical advisor to both business and technology leadership teams.
  • Establish Reference Architectures and standards, based on industry trends, innovation, and business requirements.
  • Offer domain-specific functional consulting and advise business and strategy leads about industry best practices.
  • Assist in the digital transformation of the enterprise by evaluating and redefining business processes.
  • Participate in the Architecture group and the business alignment team to translate business requirements into an architectural blueprint and conceptual design, adhering to architecture standards and usage guidelines.
  • Engage with the Enterprise Architecture Review Board to ensure governance across architectural domains.
  • Support cross-team collaboration.


Qualifications

YOU MUST HAVE
  • 8+ years of experience in IT and Security Architecture, with a proven track record of delivering scalable and secure solutions.
  • Extensive knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks and compliance standards, such as NIST, ISO27001, and CIS benchmarks.
  • Strong understanding of cloud computing, security, and compliance.
  • Strong understanding of Export Control regulations such as ITAR and EAR.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to make informed decisions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience managing executive and senior-level stakeholders.
  • Experience converting highly technical topics into simple graphics for consumption by executives.
  • In-depth understanding of cybersecurity, compliance, business continuity, and Identity & Access management.
  • Understanding of security technologies and tools, including network security, encryption technologies and cloud
  • Proficiency in designing and implementing security solutions across various platforms.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Security related industry certifications are highly desirable.

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in enterprise architecture.
