Full Job Description
A Day in the Life:

Security Architecture & Technical Leadership
  • Design and implement enterprise security controls across infrastructure, cloud platforms, endpoints, networks, and enterprise systems.
  • Serve as a technical resource for enterprise security technologies including network security, endpoint protection, IAM, data protection, and cloud security.
  • Develop and maintain security standards, hardening guidelines, and best practices for enterprise systems and platforms.
  • Provide security guidance and technical review for new systems, cloud services, infrastructure changes, and enterprise technology initiatives.
  • Partner with Infrastructure, Cloud, DevOps, and Application teams to incorporate security best practices into enterprise platforms and operational processes.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to Information Security Engineers while promoting engineering best practices.


Platform Ownership & Operational Support
  • Manage and support enterprise security platforms, including configuration standards, upgrades, integrations, tuning, and operational health.
  • Support and improve enterprise network security capabilities, including firewalls, secure access controls, and SSL decryption technologies.
  • Design, implement, and maintain integrations and automation workflows across security platforms using APIs, scripting, and automation technologies.
  • Support secure infrastructure automation practices using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) technologies such as Terraform.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues involving enterprise security technologies, cloud services, network security platforms, and infrastructure protection controls.
  • Support security investigations, remediation efforts, and recovery activities in coordination with Security Operations and other technology teams.
  • Contribute to technical documentation, operational procedures, and response playbooks for enterprise security platforms and processes.
  • Serve as a senior technical escalation resource for complex engineering challenges and security issues.


Cross-Functional Collaboration & Program Execution
  • Collaborate with Infrastructure, Cloud, DevOps, and Application teams to integrate security best practices into enterprise platforms, cloud services, and operational processes.
  • Partner with Security Operations to improve security platform visibility, operational workflows, and overall security effectiveness.
  • Promote engineering best practices, operational consistency, and knowledge sharing across the security organization.
  • Support modern security engineering practices related to cloud technologies, automation, and DevSecOps workflows.
  • Contribute to enterprise security initiatives and regulatory readiness efforts.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as needed to support organizational and security objectives.


What Makes You A Great Fit:

  • 5-8 years of experience in information security, cybersecurity engineering, or enterprise security infrastructure roles.
  • Experience leading security engineering initiatives in enterprise environments.

  • Experience working within regulated environments and familiarity with frameworks such as SOX, GLBA, FFIEC, and CIS Controls.
  • Experience supporting and securing enterprise infrastructure across on-premises, cloud (AWS and Azure), and hybrid environments.


Additional Skills For A Great Candidate:
  • Advanced ability to design, implement, and support enterprise security technologies across traditional and cloud-based environments.
  • Strong scripting and automation skills to support system integrations, workflow automation, and security platform management.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex security and infrastructure issues.
  • Experience working with cloud technologies and hybrid environments, including AWS and Azure services.
  • Familiarity with infrastructure automation and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) technologies such as Terraform.
  • Experience working with containerized and cloud-native technologies within enterprise environments is preferred.
  • Effective communicator with the ability to translate technical concepts and security risks for technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and accountable with a strong sense of ownership.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple initiatives, operational responsibilities, and security objectives within a fast-paced environment.


Compensation Range

Annual Salary: $130,205.00 - $201,818.00
