Your Team & RoleAs the IAM Implementation Lead within IAM Enablement, you will partner with IAM leadership across security and technology to shape solution design for our control environment and policy posture across the Identity and Access Management Program.
This role is a "builder-leader" position that bridges conceptual intent and delivery execution across:
- IGA: access requests, access reviews, entitlement registration
- PAM: vaulting, session management, endpoint privilege management
You will help define standards, validate designs, coordinate delivery plans, and ensure implementations are consistent across toolsets and aligned to enterprise control expectations. You will explain difficult concepts and influence others. You will work on extremely complex problems in which analysis of situations or data requires an evaluation of process, risks, and controls. This role enables stronger security and efficiency of user access to systems and data. The ideal candidate will be a quick learner with strong analytical skills and a keen interest in information security controls.
Here is What You Can Expect on a Typical Day- Support the Workforce IAM Director and senior leaders by augmenting solution design for controls, translating program strategy into adoptable patterns and delivery plans.
- Consult on newly envisioned operational approaches across SailPoint, Ping, CyberArk, and HashiCorp-including integration patterns and control instrumentation.
- Lead and coordinate cross-team execution for IAM initiatives (requirements, design, build, testing, rollout), ensuring outcomes align to scope, quality, and timelines.
- Provide hands-on technical guidance to onboarding teams on schemas/entitlement models, implementation sequencing, and "known good" patterns.
- Partner with technology, platform, and operations teams to resolve complex delivery issues (process, tooling, data, or integration challenges).
- Improve implementation consistency by contributing to:
- reference architectures and patterns
- onboarding/implementation playbooks
- risk/control checklists and validation approaches
- Track delivery health and report progress, risks, dependencies, and mitigation plans to stakeholders.
- Perform highly complex daily project and operational work, with ownership of the solution/process, per the direction of more senior team members.
- Provide guidance to more junior team members.
- Support implementation and maintenance of IAM controls and processes.
- Proactively collaborate with Business and Technology teams to resolve IAM issues and improve overall security posture.
The Skills & Expertise You Bring- Bachelor of Computer Science or Engineering or experience in related fields
- Strong program management capability (planning, dependency management, risk tracking, stakeholder alignment)
- Demonstrated experience delivering IAM solutions in complex environments; ability to explain designs clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Working technical fluency: schema/attribute modeling, entitlement structures, and practical implementation pathways across IAM toolchains.
- Strong collaboration and problem-solving skills; comfortable operating across multiple teams and priorities.
- Ability to coach others with minimal guidance and effectively leverage diverse ideas, experiences and perspectives to the benefit of the organization
- Experience with agile development methodologies
- Knowledge of business concepts and information security tools and processes that are needed for making sound decisions in the context of the company's business
- Ability to learn new skills and knowledge on an on-going basis through self-initiative and tackling challenges
- Excellent problem solving, communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to adapt with evolving business decisions and technical improvements or limitations
Advanced experience and/or expertise with several of the following:
- NIST and ISO 27000 Standards
- Identity Governance and Administration
- Privileged Access Management
Preferred qualifications:Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)
Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA)
What we offer you:Prudential is required by state specific laws to include the salary range for this role when hiring a resident in applicable locations. The salary range for this role is from $114,500.00 to $188,900.00. Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on many factors including geographic location, candidate experience, and skills.
