Work You'll Do

As a PROJECT - Lead Security Engineer II on the Government & Public Services Cyber team, you will be responsible for:
  • Analyzing and defining security requirements for applications and systems across multiple technology layers
  • Gathering and organizing technical information related to mission needs, existing security capabilities, and ongoing cybersecurity programs
  • Performing security assessments and risk analyses for systems and applications throughout the system development lifecycle
  • Supporting and, at times, leading the planning, execution, and reporting of security audits and network vulnerability assessments
  • Conducting interviews, examinations, and testing of security controls, and preparing assessment deliverables such as Security Control Assessment Reports and Security Risk Assessments

Team members focus on delivering services to clients, without additional expectations related to business development or promotion. Their employment is tied to their role on a project, and they are eligible for a benefits package that is competitive for project delivery-focused professionals.

Qualifications

Required:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline
  • Active Top Secret/SCI clearance required with ability to obtain a Poly
  • Ability to travel 25%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
  • Local to St. Louis, Missouri or Rosslyn, Virginia area and able to come onsite 5 days a week.
  • IAT LEVEL III (CASP, CISA, CISSP, GCED, or GCIH)
  • 12+ years of experience with NIST Risk Management Framework and Cyber Assessment
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or any time in the future
  • 12+ years of experience with the following:
    • Security Control Assessment Report, Security Risk Assessments, etc
    • Plan, execute and report on information technology, privacy, and operational reviews in order to identify mission, privacy, security, compliance, information technology and regulatory risk
For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in Virginia, Deloitte is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This compensation range is specific to Virginia and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $110,700 to $218,300.

You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
