This position reports directly to Inovata Foods' Senior Maintenance Supervisor.

Primary Responsibilities:Preventive & Predictive Maintenance
• Execute scheduled preventive maintenance activities across multi-line production equipment in accordance with PM schedules and CMMS work orders.
• Inspect equipment for early signs of wear, failure, or inefficiency and take corrective action before breakdowns occur.
• Maintain accurate and timely PM documentation, including findings, corrective actions, and follow-up requirements.
• Support the development, review, and continuous improvement of PM routines, frequencies, and task lists.
• Identify opportunities to shift maintenance work from reactive to planned where possible.
Equipment Reliability & Continuous Improvement
• Analyze recurring equipment issues and recommend long-term preventive or reliability-based solutions.
• Participate in root cause analysis for equipment failures and contribute to corrective and preventive action plans.
• Support equipment modifications and upgrades aimed at improving safety, reliability, and maintainability.
• Collaborate with supervisors, lead hands, and production teams to minimize downtime and improve equipment performance.
Mechanical & Technical Work
• Install, examine, replace, and repair mechanical components and systems, including conveyors, pumps, gearboxes, and production line equipment.
• Perform mechanical work requiring skills in welding (including TIG), basic electrical troubleshooting, boilers, and refrigeration compressors as required.
• Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals to support maintenance and installation work.
Safety, Food Safety & Compliance
• Adhere to all company safety policies, procedures, and applicable health and safety legislation.
• Follow all GMP, HACCP, and food safety requirements to ensure product integrity and compliance.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas at all times.
• Promptly report equipment safety concerns, hazards, or failures to the Maintenance Supervisor or Lead Hand.
Communication & Documentation
Accurately complete all maintenance records, work orders, and required departmental documentation.
• Communicate maintenance findings, equipment risks, and improvement opportunities clearly to maintenance leadership.
• Support maintenance planning by providing feedback on parts usage, tooling needs, and equipment condition.

Requirements:- Valid Millwright license required, with a minimum of 3 years of related experience.
- Completion of WHMIS 2015 within the last 3 years.
- Strong experience in preventive maintenance, equipment inspections, and reliability-focused maintenance practices.
- Proficient in welding and the use of mechanical hand tools and power tools.
- Demonstrated ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, schematics, manuals, and specifications.
- Experience in food & beverage, pharmaceutical, or consumer packaged goods manufacturing preferred.
- Solid understanding of HACCP, GMP, and Joint Health & Safety Committee (JHSC) requirements.
- Basic computer skills and mathematical proficiency.
- Proficient in the use of CMMS systems for work orders, PM scheduling, and maintenance records.
