Full Job Description
MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Lead Field Office Technician to join our CASTLE-NET Program team. This is a remote position .

Be a part of an agile team to provide the U.S Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) OCIO/G-6 with agile, innovative, customer focused, and cost-effective integrated enterprise IT support services in support of the USACE vision of engineering solutions for the Nation's toughest challenges.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Providing on-site technical support and assistance by deploying to CASTLE-NET program field offices for IT infrastructure and end-user device wellness checks.
  • Providing technical leadership on major tasks or technology assignments while directing and controlling field activities for assigned areas.
  • Directing and controlling field activities for assigned areas to ensure all technical requirements and project objectives are met.
  • Functioning as a technical expert across multiple project assignments to deliver world-class IT services and responsive customer support.
  • Delivering vital solutions that strengthen the IT foundation with secure, innovative, and modernized technological solutions for the USACE.
  • Interfacing with senior management to discuss methods and staffing to ensure technical requirements and mission goals are achieved.
  • Establishing goals and plans that meet project objectives while supervising team members as necessary.


Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree with 10+ years of experience in IT and field/user support roles; or an Associate degree with 12+ years of experience; or 14+ years of relevant experience.
  • Possesses and applies comprehensive knowledge across key tasks and high-impact assignments within the IT domain.
  • Excellent technical knowledge of hardware, software, and network troubleshooting, including experience with IT equipment setup and maintenance.
  • Proficiency in remote support tools and ticketing systems with a willingness to travel extensively for field office support.
  • Possess and maintain relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+ or Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator.
  • Must maintain a DoD 8140 IAT Level II certification to meet security and baseline requirements.


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Familiarity with the USACE IT environment, regulatory requirements, and specific IT best practices.


Clearance Requirements:
  • Must possess a Secret security clearance prior to starting this position.


Physical Requirements:
  • The person in this position must be able to travel 75% of the time.


The projected compensation range for this position is $94,800.00-$157,200.00. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
