Full Job Description
Step into a leadership role where your expertise keeps critical pharmacy operations running smoothly. As the Lead Facilities Engineer, you will oversee the care and maintenance of all building systems and equipment at our Newburyport pharmacy fulfillment site. You'll manage a skilled facilities team and partner closely with operations, workplace services, and site leaders to create a safe, reliable, and compliant environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee repairs and maintenance for all building systems, equipment, and grounds
  • Ensure the site meets Board of Pharmacy and other regulatory standards
  • Lead, support, and develop a team of Facility Management Technicians
  • Complete preventative and corrective maintenance work
  • Lead the response and resolution of facility emergencies to minimize operational disruptions
  • Ensure work orders are completed on time and within defined SLAs
  • Manage vendor and contractor partnerships, including scheduling and oversight
  • Partner with Finance on budgeting, planning, and upgrading equipment
  • Advance safety, environmental, and compliance standards across the site
  • Support risk management and change control processes to enable safe, efficient operations
  • Prepare for audits and maintain accurate documentation
  • Deliver strong customer services to both internal teams and external partners


Qualifications
  • Associate degree in a technical field, or similar work experience
  • 6+ years of related experience
  • Strong HVAC and refrigeration knowledge
  • Universal CFC certification required
  • Ability to read and understand technical plans and documents
  • Valid driver's license
  • OSHA 30 certification (or the ability to obtain within 12 months)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Experience with BMS and CMMS systems
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to stand, walk, climb, and perform physical tasks
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds or more
  • Schedule: 8:00am - 4:30pm, flexibility as needed
  • On-call and ability to work at Waltham and Marlborough locations is required


If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.

For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 80,600 - 134,400 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.

This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
