Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management or Engineering preferred, or equivalent technical training and experience
• Minimum 8 years' relevant experience, including 3 years in people and project management
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong analytical and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in interpreting plans and specifications
• Highly skilled in Excel, Word, and Quick Pen Auto Bid Mechanical and Sheet Metal Estimating software
• Strong negotiation and customer service skills

Responsibilities

• Lead estimating function for complex projects across multiple business functions
• Prepare preliminary budgets and detailed estimates for larger projects
• Assist Chief Estimator with presentations, budget reports, and estimating documents
• Develop deliverables, timelines, and success measures while communicating progress
• Delegate tasks to team members and provide performance feedback
• Oversee red-lining documents at all levels
• Negotiate with vendors and implement industry standards
