Full Job Description
As a lead Duck Creek developer on our Strategic Planning and Architecture (SPA) team within the Commercial Lines IT organization, you'll shape the strategy, design, and delivery of complex insurance technology solutions. Applying hands-on experience with Duck Creek and related technologies, you'll lead the design of innovative product model solutions, platform configurations, and scalable technical architectures across our policy ecosystem. As a technical leader, you'll partner closely with business collaborators to evaluate new needs, lead proofs of concept and feasibility assessments, and take ownership of technical solutions from early planning through handoff to delivery teams.

This is a remote position for US-based work only.

Must-have qualifications

  • Minimum of 9 years related work experience programming and supporting software applications.
  • {OR} Completion of a technical training program and a minimum of 6 years related work experience programming and supporting software applications.
  • {OR} Bachelor's degree or higher in an Information Technology related field of study and a minimum of 6 years related work experience programming and supporting software applications.


Preferred skills
  • Strong understanding of Duck Creek architecture, configuration, and manuscript design.
  • Strong understanding of REST APIs, enterprise integration patterns, and distributed system communication.
  • Experience implementing headless, API-driven, or custom UI solutions with Duck Creek.
  • Experience delivering complex, non-standard, or highly customized product model solutions with Duck Creek.
  • Ability to influence technical solutions and architecture decisions.

Compensation
  • $132,000 - $154,000/year
  • Gainshare annual cash incentive payment up to 40% of your eligible earnings based on company performance
