Job Description:

Lead Digital Project Manager - EHS Systems & Data

Role Summary:

Oversee the planning, organization, and implementation of multiple and complex digital projects supporting Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) systems, enterprise data, and reporting. Enables delivery of the EHS strategy through technology, analytics, and integrated digital platforms.

What You Will Do:
  • Manages day-to-day digital and IT projects supporting EHS systems.
  • Develop contingency plans for system integration, data integrity, and adoption risks.
  • Directs cross-functional teams across IT, data, and business stakeholders.
  • Ensure deliverables meet EHS and business reporting objectives.
  • Ensures adherence to quality, governance, and IT processes.
  • Owns architecture and lifecycle of enterprise EHS systems and datasets.
  • Leads dashboards and analytics using tools like Power BI and SharePoint.
  • Delivers full lifecycle projects including UAT, rollout, and training.
  • Collaborates across IT and EHS to build scalable solutions.
  • Leads data governance and validation activities.
  • Supports EHS compliance through systems and reporting.

  • Strong data architecture and analytics skills.
  • Experience delivering enterprise digital initiatives.
  • Working knowledge of EHS regulations.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams.

  • IT Project Management: Knowledge of project management; ability to plan, organize, monitor and control IT projects using appropriate technical resources.
  • IT Standards, Procedures & Policies: Knowledge of Information Technology (IT) standards and policies; ability to utilize a variety of administrative skill sets and technical knowledge to manage organizational IT policies, standards, and procedures.

  • The location for this position is East Peoria, IL.
  • Domestic relocation is available for qualified candidates.
  • This role requires 5 days onsite.

Summary Pay Range:

$128,470.00 - $192,710.00

Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
