We are hiring two people for this role, one more oriented towards data science and one more oriented towards data engineering. Both roles will have a heavy focus on data, BI, and advanced analytics tool development.
Key Accountabilities- Employ sophisticated analytics, machine learning, and statistical methods for predictive and prescriptive modelling, forecasting, and simulations to solve business problems
- Lead projects from conception to completion, working with multiple teams of stakeholders directly to understand and address their analytic needs
- Assist with research, implementation, and delivery of data products that support the work of the New England Electric Business, including data requests and dashboards.
- Develop, manage, and maintain the EDM technology platform, which includes cloud computing assets, database architecture, stored procedures and orchestration jobs, and reporting
- Assemble small and large individual data sets that meet internal business requirements and are within the overall Electric Data Management (EDM) technology platform
- Design and implement ETL processes to collect, transform, and store data from various data sources (databases, APIs, FTPs, SharePoint) using a range of technologies depending upon the use case (Azure, SQL, Python)
- Develop tools to automate manual procedures and optimize data and solution delivery for end users.
QualificationsRequired- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative discipline.

Salary$153,000 - $180,000 a yearNational Grid will not be providing visa sponsorship for this position now or in the future. You must have the ability to work without a need for current or future visa sponsorship.
