About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Product Portfolio Specialist / Portfolio Manager to join its Accounts Receivable Securitization (ARS) team. This role is responsible for managing a portfolio of ARS clients, overseeing ongoing credit and collateral performance, and supporting portfolio growth initiatives. Key responsibilities include monitoring borrowing bases, reviewing field examinations, conducting portfolio reviews, and maintaining strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders. The successful candidate will partner closely with Risk, Legal, Banking, and external financial institutions while helping drive strategic objectives for the ARS business.


In this role, you will:

  • Manage a portfolio of approximately 9-12 Accounts Receivable Securitization clients.
  • Monitor portfolio performance through borrowing base reviews, field exam analysis, covenant compliance, and ongoing risk assessment.
  • Contribute to strategic initiatives aimed at retaining and growing the ARS portfolio, including identifying opportunities to enhance profitability and deepen client relationships.
  • Lead transaction amendments and facility modifications, including commitment increases, renewals, deposit account control agreement changes, and borrowing base structural enhancements.
  • Exercise sound judgment in complex situations by balancing client needs with credit discipline, risk management standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Partner with Risk Management, Banking, Legal, Operations, and other stakeholders to resolve issues and achieve business objectives.
  • Communicate key portfolio developments, emerging risks, and mitigation strategies to management and risk partners.
  • Serve as a resource and mentor to peers, helping develop best practices and fostering collaboration across the ARS platform.
  • Participate in and lead special projects, including regulatory, policy, process improvement, and business transformation initiatives.


Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of secured or specialized lending relationship management or portfolio management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education


Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience with Accounts Receivable Securitization, Asset-Based Lending (ABL), or other structured finance products.
  • Strong financial analysis and credit risk management skills.
  • Experience working with large corporate clients, including companies with annual revenues exceeding $750 million.
  • Proven ability to manage complex client relationships and transaction structures.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience in Commercial Banking, Corporate Banking, or Investment Banking environments.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders across multiple functions.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
