As a Lead Conveyance Engineer, you will provide technical leadership on complex municipal water, wastewater, and stormwater conveyance projects while guiding multidisciplinary teams through planning, design, and delivery. This is an opportunity to influence critical infrastructure investments, mentor future engineering talent, and strengthen client partnerships within a growing Water & Wastewater Conveyance practice.

Your Impact
  • Lead the planning, design, and delivery of complex municipal water, wastewater, and stormwater conveyance infrastructure projects.
  • Oversee the development of engineering calculations, technical reports, drawings, specifications, and construction cost estimates.
  • Guide multidisciplinary teams across structural, geotechnical, environmental, mechanical, and electrical disciplines to deliver integrated infrastructure solutions.
  • Champion innovative and practical approaches to solving complex engineering challenges while maintaining quality, safety, and project objectives.
  • Support construction activities through technical reviews, site visits, contractor coordination, and field services.
  • Mentor and develop engineers, designers, and technical professionals through technical leadership and quality reviews.
  • Drive successful project outcomes by supporting scope, schedule, budget, risk management, and resource planning activities.
  • Strengthen client relationships and contribute to business development, proposals, and strategic growth opportunities within the conveyance practice.

The Skills That Set You Apart
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
  • Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation and registration with Professional Engineers Ontario.
  • 10+ years of experience delivering municipal water, wastewater, or stormwater infrastructure projects.
  • Strong expertise in the planning, design, and delivery of watermains, pipelines, trunk sewers, forcemains, pump stations, and related conveyance infrastructure.
  • Demonstrated experience leading multidisciplinary project teams and delivering complex infrastructure programs.
  • Proven ability to prepare and review design reports, contract drawings, technical specifications, and cost estimates.
  • Experience supporting Municipal Class Environmental Assessments, environmental approvals, and trenchless infrastructure solutions.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills with experience mentoring technical teams and building long-term client relationships.

Compensation

AB, BC, NT, NU, SK & YT: $122,900 - $162,800

MB & ON: $112,100 - $154,400

NB, NL, NS, PE & QC: $111,000 - $147,400
