About This Team:
The Lead Consultant is a key member of Citrix Consulting Services. This team is responsible for delivering high-impact engagements designed by our Account Technology Strategists and Solution Architects, ensuring they align perfectly with both our clients' strategic needs and Citrix business objectives.
You will join a highly skilled, multicultural team of experts distributed across North America. While this role specifically aligns with our North America team, you will be part of a globally aligned consulting organization. Our consultants operate across a diverse range of industry verticals, delivering tailored solutions for Healthcare, Education, Financial Services and Insurance (FSI), and Manufacturing and Retail.
Job Description/Responsibilities:
The Lead Consultant drives all aspects of customer engagements, executing both internal and customer-facing projects with precision while proactively identifying follow-on opportunities for the Account Technology Specialist & Solution Architect. This individual has fully mastered core consulting methodologies and demonstrates highly developed, diverse knowledge across the broader Citrix technology platform, with deep expertise anchored in virtualization solutions and their adjacent technologies.
The position requires the strategic application of advanced consulting methodologies, strict adherence to documentation standards, and strong time management. Rather than focusing on a single product, the Lead Consultant is expected to continuously expand their technical breath across our evolving platform ecosystem to solve complex architectural and deployment challenges.
As a senior individual contributor, the Lead Consultant independently navigates high-complexity technical hurdles and actively mentors junior resources through their own problem resolutions. This role demands a collaborative team player committed to continuous learning through project experience, self-study, and training, backed by excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Takes full ownership of customer projects, liaising closely with the Solution Architect and Account Technology Strategist to ensure seamless execution, achieve defined business outcomes, and drive high customer satisfaction.
Partners collaboratively with specialized teams to transition customers smoothly from the Proof of Concept (PoC) stage into full-scale, mass production rollouts.
Provides strong technical oversight and lightweight project management to ensure the success of both customer- and partner-driven projects.
Demonstrates exceptional multitasking and prioritization skills, with the ability to effectively balance and advance 10+ active projects or requests simultaneously.
Establishes a strong reputation as a technical expert across diverse industry verticals, helping team members, customers, and stakeholders understand the direct connection between industry trends and the Citrix technology portfolio.
Leads by example across all delivery standards, creating an open, collaborative environment where team members feel empowered to be candid and constructively debate conflicting ideas.
Conveys the Citrix platform vision in practical, highly relevant terms that help customers visualize and successfully navigate their journey toward their future-state architecture.
Maintains a sharp focus on department and corporate strategic priorities, effectively allocating time and resources to high-impact initiatives.
Invests consistently in mentoring, peer coaching, and the active technical development of junior team members.
