Lead Communications Specialist to support an industry-leading credit union headquartered in
San Antonio, TX. The Lead Communications Specialist will develop and execute strategic communication plans that enhance member engagement, strengthen brand presence, and ensure consistent messaging across internal and external channels.
Responsibilities for the Lead Communications Specialist Include: - Develop and execute comprehensive communication strategies aligned with organizational goals.
- Manage internal and external communications, including press releases, newsletters, digital content, and corporate messaging.
- Collaborate with leadership and cross-functional teams to ensure consistent messaging across the organization.
- Lead crisis communication planning and execution.
- Analyze communication performance and provide recommendations to improve engagement and effectiveness.
- Lead and mentor communication professionals to deliver high-quality content and initiatives.
Qualifications for the Lead Communications Specialist Include: - Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in corporate communications, including 2+ years in a leadership capacity.
- Financial services, banking, or credit union industry experience preferred.
- Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
- Experience with digital communication tools and platforms.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Compensation for the Lead Communications Specialist Includes: - Salary: $100,000 - $115,000 depending on experience.
