Summary

You will serve as a Lead Business Management Specialist for the developing and executing CORE requirements/Capacity requirements/Capability Development Initiatives /DoD Depot Maintenance Profile requirements /Maintenance Interservice Coordination Officer, (MICO), Performance Based Logistics (PBL) and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Rough Order Magnitude (ROM) cost program functions of FLTREADCEN SOUTHEAST.

Duties

Help

  • You will lead a team of employees and works with team members to meet specific program goals.
  • You will formulate business strategies for the identification, initiation and management of emerging developmental potential Performance Based Logistics (PBL) opportunities for aircraft, engine and component programs.
  • You will support CORE requirements/Capacity requirements/Capability Development Initiatives /DoD Depot Maintenance Profile requirements.
  • You will support Maintenance interservice Coordination Officer, (MICO), Foreign Military Sales (FMS), Performance Based Logistics (PBL) and Rough Order Magnitude (ROM) cost program functions.
  • You will provide management support services for cost analysis, business planning strategies, planning and development of future workload, which have a depot man-hour and funding impact.
  • You will guide the team in the selection and application of appropriate problem-solving methods and techniques, provides advice on work methods, practices and procedures.

  • This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.


Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Comprehensive understanding of Logistical Elements and dependencies essential for Capability Establishment and Public Private Partnership framework for integration into a Military Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul Depot Facility. 2) Formulates objectives and priorities and implements plans consistent with Command Strategic Plan, capitalizing on opportunities and managing risks, contingencies, recognizing implications for the organization and stakeholders. 3) Manage and oversee multiple programs and incorporating Organizational skills to meet objectives while providing a learning environment to develop team. 4) Foster collaboration across diverse team to build strategic relationships and achieve common goals. 5) Identify and analyze problems; generate and evaluate prospective solutions; make timely/effective recommendations based on potential implications of findings or conclusions. 6) Lead diverse team of competencies, commands, agencies, commercial partners to meet required Logistics Support Elements and milestones to accomplish mission goals.
