Job Title: Lead Architect, Maestro Kinaxis Solutions, Supply Chain Planning

Current Need:

The Lead Architect, Maestro Kinaxis Solutions, Supply Chain Planning is responsible for end-to-end ownership of the Kinaxis RapidResponse solution, ensuring it delivers business value across demand, supply, and integrated planning processes. This role bridges business, IT, and system integrators, translating business requirements into scalable Kinaxis solutions and ensuring operational readiness and long-term sustainability.

Key Responsibilities

Solution Ownership & Design
  • Own the overall Kinaxis solution architecture across Demand, Supply, S&OP/IBP, and Control Tower (as applicable).
  • Lead solution design decisions, ensuring alignment with business strategy and planning maturity.
  • Drive fit-gap analysis, configuration strategy, and design sign-off.
  • Ensure Kinaxis best practices are applied while balancing customization needs.

Delivery & Execution
  • Partner with System Integrators (e.g., Accenture) to oversee configuration, integrations, data loads, and testing.
  • Act as the primary Kinaxis functional escalation point during delivery.
  • Stakeholder & Governance Management
  • Serve as the primary business-facing solution lead for planning stakeholders.
  • Facilitate design workshops, executive reviews, and decision forums.
  • Provide clear status, risk, and mitigation updates to program leadership.
  • Support go/no-go decisions with fact-based readiness assessments.

Functional & Technical
  • Strong expertise in Kinaxis RapidResponse (Demand Planning, Supply Planning, S&OP/IBP).
  • Deep understanding of end-to-end supply chain planning processes.
  • Experience with ERP integrations (SAP S/4 preferred).
  • Familiarity with data models, interfaces, and planning master data.

Leadership & Delivery
  • Proven experience leading large-scale Kinaxis implementations.
  • Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills.
  • Experience working with global, cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to balance strategic vision with hands-on execution.


Certifications (Preferred)
  • APICS CPIM, CSCP, or CLTD.
  • Kinaxis Rapid Response Author or Contributor certifications are highly desirable.


Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Engineering, Business, or a related field required.
  • Typically requires, 10+ years of experience in supply chain planning, operations, or transformation roles.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience in leading cross-functional supply chain projects.
  • Proven track record implementing advanced planning systems such as Kinaxis Rapid Response, Maestro, SAP IBP, O9, or similar.
  • Strong experience leading end-to-end system implementations, including design, configuration, integration, testing, deployment, and hyper care.
  • Background working in complex, fast-paced environments (life sciences, or similar industries preferred).
  • Experience in large-scale programs with multimillion-dollar budgets and globally distributed teams.
